A week in review

It is hard to come up with some great theme to link all the pictures in the previous post together except to say that it has been a busy week! Susan came up for the weekend and took the kids to Youngs'. While she was there I was going to work and Kris was trying to figure out how to extract a live racoon from a 3 inch space it apparently was trapped in for 5 days. With some lovely days over a long weekend we got the bikes all ready for the summer. Our helmets have now replaced the winter hats and it is delightful. Isabel even got to ride on the trailing bike for the first time. Wesley and I had so many fond memories together in FL on that bike and it was fun to see Wesley now coaching his little sister along on the same one. As I am writing the dormers are continuing to take shape.
This weekend made it feel like summer is already here. It was a relaxing and enjoyable one spent with friends and family. Kris celebrated his birthday and also a clean bill of health from his doctor. He is able to return to all his activities without any restrictions. I expect that these two pictures with Kris and his brace will probably be the last ones posted! :)

Awww, that 'coon is cute. I had a really nice time in Ohio, your week in review seems so deficient somehow. There were so many other great memories. How about Kris standing up at the memorial fire and thanking God for his grandmother, his aunt.. or the Enchanted Evening at Beavercreek ending with Friendlys Ice Cream. Or searching all over tarnation for the elusive Wii. The picture of Mandy was nice, it was great to see her if only for a few minutes and the pic of Bel and I and Kristianna at the Memorial Day parade in downtown Cedarville. Awww, how fun.

Very nice pictures! I'm glad you had a fun filled, hard working, yet relaxing time! Glad Kris is able to go back to full time house building...I'm sure he is thrilled, too! Summer is officially here with school letting out! Fun, fun!

Betsy,
It was a great time and we are very thankful for Kris' recovery. He is trying to make up for lost time now!

Susan,
Don't forget about Isabel's "staged" thanksgiving...spoken in a shy voice.. "I am thankful Aunt Susan could come up here." How much did you pay her after all? :)
