A forced stop

I am grateful today for the snow. Not only is it beautiful but it is also an opportunity to stop and enjoy life at home. Growing up in the Adirondacks probably made me appreciate times like these when a busy schedule is suddenly preempted by the stillness of softly falling snow. I fondly recall enjoying warm, freshly baked bread with tea and sitting around the table with my family. Today was supposed to be a crazy night but now plans have been changed. I may be getting out the tea pot soon! :)
I am also posting updates on our projects. Enjoy your day.

Isn't the snow beautiful! It just makes you relaxed to watch it float to the ground. I do loved that snowed-in feeling. I wonder if we will get enough for that to happen! :) The chair is looking great!

Love that picture. Don't love the cold and snow. It's pretty, but wish it were somewhere else. Or should I say I wish I were somewhere else. Are you re-doing that chair in Pink?? If so, I shall compliment you on your choice of color! Hope to work with you soon.

Sorry, Leah! It is red. The picture does make it look pink, however. I'll bring in a sample to work. Red seems to look very nice with all the wood in the house.

Yes, I agree, as I've seen the fabric! It's a perfect red for your wood! Can't wait to see it all finished!
