The challenge

I am too busy to adequately post right now. I should be posting photos of the building update. It is hard to do now that the view I need is through the girl's window and it has a screen on it. 2.5 layers of the roof are done. It is looking nice! Honestly, however, Kris has challenged me and our competitive natures are at work.

I have begun to reupholster our plaid recliner and then our different colored plaid sofa. Kris mentioned the other day that the connector may be done before I finished my project. My reaction was the same as when he told me that his goal was to finish the whole marathon before I finished my half marathon 3 years ago.

Bring it on! :)

Bo told me I was too old and slow to run the designated pace during our speed workout last week...the next mile was 15 sec. under pace! No wonder Chief was cheering for Bo when he drove past us on our run this morning (literally). You go, Marcia! You know I'm cheering for you!!

Too old and slow? I don't think so! Good job. (I only wish that they didn't understand how motivating a challenge can be.)

Your recliner is coming along well. It will look great when it is finished. I understand the challenge from Kris. He has a challenging way of putting things sometimes.

I'm wondering if he has an ulterior motive to get the recliner back and functioning by the Super Bowl?? Either way, You go girl!

I think Heidi may be on to something...guess that what happens when you're the sister. After trying to keep snow out of the dining room, I won't mind a better main entrance. Actually the snow is better then the mud that I know will follow!
