Model inspiration

I know this isn't nearly as dramatic as placing 808 logs but I finished a project of mine. I subscribe to a sewing magazine from Finland that I love called Ottobre. The cover photo made all of us do a double-take. I know Isabel didn't leave the country but it sure looked like she was recruited! Isabel HAD to have a dress just like it. I did my best! It is a little tricky because the material in the pattern magazine is overseas and not usually found here. I'll send the original and my little "model". You tell me what you think!

SOOOOOOOOOO cute, Marcia, you have really out done yourself. Isabel looks like she just stepped out of the book. I WISH I was that capable and talented!!!

That is amazing! (the likeness and your sewing skills!) Isabel is cuter than the model... and I'm not just saying that because she's family! :) I also just was in Florida, in West Palm Beach with my roommates. it was glorious! Hope your trip was as well!
