They were saying on the news last night that there was gusts of 70 mph. While I wasn't measuring myself I can tell you that the kids had to sleep in the basement last night so they could get to sleep without the winds' howling. Our place fared a bit better then this poor tree in town!

That howling was something else, wasn't it! Our house was creaking and moaning! We lost a few shingles, too!
